"Excellent hotel. Staff is tremendously helpful - helped counsel us on things to do and transportation and were actively looking out for us. The rooms were wonderful for our family. "The owners/staff show impeccable attention to detail in regards to customer service. The hotel itself is beautiful, the few blocks surrounding it are rundown and noisy but I can't fault them for that. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. I was treated very well. If you need/want to stay near the Centro Historico I'd stay here in a heartbeat. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Overall the kindness of the staff made this an amazing stay. The hotel was very secure, I felt like I was coming to my home. "The Casa Gangotena was perfection! The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was gracious and attentive. We stayed in a very comfortable, large room with a spectacular view of the Plaza de San Francisco. We enjoyed breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the hotel and loved that the menu included local cuisine. Plus, the prices were reasonable - we would have easily paid twice as much at home for a meal of the same caliber. You also shouldn't miss a late afternoon cocktail on the rooftop!"

"I loved my stay at Casa Gardenia. Location was very convenient to restaurants. I felt safe walking at night to go out to dinner. "Very, very nice hotel. We were welcomed by a very lovely, courteous young lady. The whole hotel follows an Inca theme and is very lovingly decorated. The food in the restaurant was simply unbelievably delicious. The breakfast was also very varied, sumptuous and delicious. The hotel is very close to the Alameda metro. A supermarket is also just around the corner and from the roof terrace you have an incredible view over the old town. We would love to come back!"
