"Very clean towels, nice and warm bedding, good coffee and breakfast, but no paper tissue in my room."

"No AC for hot afternoons. Only oscillation fans in room. Bar soap for bath. Standard hotel towels. Restaurant with hotel so dont have to walk far. Check in is at the restaurant. Noisy because had to have windows open due to room temperature"

"A spotless property that is a very good value. Note: bathroom ls are communal but for us it wasn’t a “deal killer.” The bathroom and showers were, like the rest of the property, spotless. My only suggestion was for the owners to proves extra pillows. We had two very thin pillows and one normal thickness; unfortunately, there were two of us. I still got a nice night’s sleep but would have appreciated a second pillow or a thicker one."

"Fabulous choice in Talkeetna. Chinook Cabins are very lovely, comfortable and convenient. Walkable to town shops, bakery, coffee, brewery, etc, artisan shops , historical town with quaint interesting museum. Terrific staff and easy transportation and bag storage for train travelers. Highly recommend."

"I thought I had secured a pet friendly room through Expedia, but apparently that was not the case. The front desk clerk gave me the option of keeping the room and letting my friend Jack sleep in my car, or take a cabin. I opted for the cabin because I know how to use an outhouse. However, there was no running water, no shower, etc. and not even a gallon of water was provided. There was face soap and make up remover packets provided, but no basin and the water in the little sink went directly...

"I absolutely loved cabin #7, which is where I stayed. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. If I am in the area again, I will definitely return. Thank you!"
