"Inizio con il dire che abbiamo trovato la stanza e la struttura pulita, i servizi efficienti e la posizione ottimale... purtroppo l'hotel però è rimasto fermo agli anni 80 dove sicuramente era un fiore all'occhiello come struttura ricettiva, dalle porte agli infissi , che sanitari, la pavimentazione (che in alcuni punti della stanza era sollevata) ...da sottolineare la colazione molto basic (li si può comunque migliorare). "Dire che il mio soggiorno in questa struttura sia stato "piacevole" sarebbe riduttivo. Dal momento in cui ho varcato la soglia fino all'istante della partenza, l'esperienza è stata un crescendo di eccellenza, cura del dettaglio e relax assoluto. "We absolutely loved our stay of 4 nights at Thymus! Incredibly clean and so cool to stay inside a cave. Breakfast outside while looking at the hills of matera will never be forgotten. Well worth every penny!"

"Well, Franco is what really makes the stay. He gives all sorts of tips and advice for what to visit and where to go and even books restaurants for you. That being said the masseria is a bit in the middle of nowhere. The dog Diana is the highlight of the stay. She is always there to welcome you when you return to the property. "Very nice room in a quiet, beautiful part of the countryside. Friendly host. Lots of sweet dogs on the property. Many need a bath and a little medical care, in my opinion, but they were a joy to see whenever we came and went. The wifi did not work in our room at all. Dining in the area is limited, but we did find a nice place for pizza nearby."
