"Very clean and cozy beds! The breakfast here is one of the best I’ve ever had at any hotel! On weekends though it doesn’t start until 7am. We were up super early so it would have been nice if it started at 6am. No complaints on anything else."

"Serena. Or Sierra? Was very helpful. She made me feel comfortable on my Stay. Enjoyed the hotub too! I liked the Laid back vibe. Thanks!"

"Excellent stay. Especially for this reasonable price point. I’ve stayed at higher priced hotels that had less friendly service. Not only was the staff very helpful at this Best Western was so clean, quiet, great shower pressure and shower head. I would definitely stay here again."

"Not pet friendly and needs new management."

"Clean room, staff was nice! Plus it’s not super expensive for a room! We will be staying here again in the future!"

"Very convenient to the Highway. Property lacked sufficient parking and the grounds had minimal landscaping, etc, but the room was very clean and comfortable. I thought the rate was a bit high for the property, but I would stay here again."

"While the property is in need of a facelift, the mattress was very comfortable! The bedding in our room was yellowed and didn’t smell clean. I called the front desk to get new pillowcases, but was told the office was locked. 🤔The towels were very thin but clean. The breakfast area was nice and food was ok! The motel is next to a busy train track with trains running all night. I must say at least the price was good!"

"The property was remodeled and had fresh paint and carpet. It was not very soundproof though. We could hear people talking and going in and out of their doors."

"The bar tender was lazy and did not know how to make drinks. They don’t even have a ESPN subscription at the bar to watch the local College football and basketball games."

"Pros: staff and dog friendly Cons: not clean, not kept up, bathroom door broken, toilet rocked, shower looked dirty, bathroom sink cracked, AC barely worked, sat something in front of door because it didn't feel secure, infested with stink bugs and had spiders"

"Room was @ 61 degrees when first entered. The room is located very close to Highway 23 which was very loud and noisy, including the train tracks a few feet away with a train coming through every two hours. The shower continued to drip all the time, as well as the toilet continued to cycle flushing required the bathroom door to be shut all the time. The breakfast setting was good, but the hot portion was not available on all days. Not many choices in the Portsmouth area."

"The place is older and needs renovated. Clean and kind staff."
