"The Albemarle distinguishes itself in its attention to detail. Best shower I had in three weeks in Ecuador. Lots of hot water. Used books by the bed to read, board games...the list goes on. Plus the beachfront location is great with lots of bars and eating places within 5 min walk.Plus very attentive and helpful staff especially Samy at reception. Thank-you all of you for a short but special stay! "

"We had a wonderful time! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we also enjoyed an amazing dinner during our stay. The cocktails were delicious and perfectly made. The staff provided excellent recommendations for things to do on Isabela Island, which really enhanced our experience. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality. "Sehr schöne Lage direkt am Strand. Puerto Villamil gibt einem ein herrliches Urlaubs-Feeling! Hotel ist sauber und komfortabel und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Frühstück gibt es zwar auf einer schönen Terrasse, die Qualität ist leider nicht besonders gut."

"Very comfortable rooms with ocean view. Friendly staff and very nice breakfast. The location is super convenient with great restaurants all around. The staff helped us with late checkout and made sure we have what we need. Highly recommended."

"Breakfast was delicious (fruit, scrambled eggs, bread, cheese, coffee, juice). The owners were very friendly and accommodating (we checked in a bit early and they let us go in since the room was ready). Location is wonderful since it is a walking distance from great restaurants, bakery and downtown. All great!"

"The staff was excellent.. the rooms were clean . Seems that the management is disconnected from the hotel, and throw every problem to the staff. The hot water issue and the breakfast which wasn t great.. it should be the management / owners responsible to actually fix the proble and not just collect the money. But lovely staff and very helpful"

"Fraud hotel. Tried to contact before checkin however number is not operational and there is no email. Hotels.com wasn't able to contact them either, yet they still charged my card. Going through a dispute with card company now. Avoid at all costs"

"Really nice place to stay, very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The food was excellent. Good advice and booking for tours. Location is a short walk from main centre, a few mins, but that makes it nice and quiet. Close to harbour so easy access from ferry."

"Lovely hostal on Isabella Island! I've stayed at 4 hostels in the islands and this one was by far my fav. Many lacked the social aspect, but here the owners have a lovely beach bar across the road where they hosted events (game nights, trivia, etc) which was great to meet other travellers. The rooms were spacious, shower was hot, rooftop area was nice. Only 1 item I disliked - 2 of the windows in my room were just screens at the top and couldn't be closed, so you could hear all the noise from...
