"First of all, we enjoyed our stay here. It is a very nice place, extremely clean. I think this is the first time ever we got free upgrade room. It is a one bedroom suite with one bedroom, two bathrooms, laundry, huge balcony with ocean view. The food quality is slightly better than the resort we stayed at hotel zone. But I got tummy trouble on the last day. The meeting with the concierge was a little bit too much after the flights you just want to go to your room and relax. They kept offering all kinds of promotions and discounts to asked you to sign. Now the main issue which we never seen before at other places. Here basically everywhere you go, buffet, restaurants or room service they will show you a bill and ask you to choose the tipping and sign. I don’t understand why you will get different amount of bill when you eat at buffet. And all the bills with unreasonable prices. The first night at the buffet, I accidentally put 10 peso in the system as the tip and the waiter actually chased me down to ask me to redo it. The front desk will show you all the details you “spent” at checked out. I found out there was twice room service I put down 50 peso got changed to 150 peso. Yes, when you checked in they will run your card for 400 dollars as deposit, charge from it in the end and refund the rest of it. This place is definitely not busy, very quiet, no game room. I personally felt pressured about the whole tipping thing, my 8 years old enjoyed the spacious room overall."

"Its sad to say the 9nly thing I didnt like was the fact I left pesos coins on the dresser,was about 15 pesos in coins and when I came back from having fun the room was cleaned and they were missing. Notified front deck and they came and literally searched my room and all my bags as if I was hiding them and I felt very uncomfortable about that. But I never heard back from the investigation team about the matter."

"The property was absolutely beautiful the rooms large, airy and spacious. SERVICE was superb. The staff as always is what makes this. It is an excellent property for couples. And although we were a couple would have preferred something a little more lively, but that is on us. Food was OK sometimes better than others. That was a little disappointing. Capacity was pretty low, which was surprising albeit that it was a very hot July. Would definitely recommend for the reasons stated above. if you want something private, intimate with excellent service this is the place for you."

"We had a wonderful extended family vacation to Garza Blanca Cancun! We had 3 different rooms and they were able to accommodate us to be in the same section of the building, with 2 rooms next door to each other. The resort is absolutely beautiful and we loved the pools and the restaraunts! Food and drinks were great. There was a lot of seaweed and some rocky areas on the beach so we did not spend as much time there. We did a day trip to Isla Mujeres though and would highly recommend that! Water was way better over there. Be prepared to sign/tip for every drink and meal - a difference from some other all inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at. Service and staff were wonderful though and would overall recommend and would come back! Carousel was a big hit with the littles. Entertainment starts at 9 each night which is harder with little kids but common with many resorts."

"Our stay was wonderful! We had the swim up room which was both private and accessible to the fun. We enjoyed all the restaurants and bars especially Spice and Excellence Club Lounge. Caesar never disappoints for a perfect evening margarita ! This is our second Excellence property. We can’t wait to visit our third this October in the D.R! You won’t regret this choice!"
