"Don’t stay upstairs because the you will be asked to keep it down. Which we were asked several times to keep the noise level down. One night just opening the sofa bed and the next day in the afternoon. The property is not even updated."

"The beach is perfectly clean and very close, no seaweed. The ocean is so warm and beautiful. The local bus which they call trolley is free to use. We landed at Sarasota International Airport that is closer than Tampa. It is beautiful to see everything around you. Beautiful Florida. Owners should make clear that guests don’t have to go to a different property to check in. Online registration is annoying. Our room was clean and a new unit. My son picked up an ear infection in the pool."

"The best part about this hotel is the location. It’s literally just across the street from the beach, which was super convenient. The biggest disappointment was the beach umbrellas. They only have 5 umbrellas for both Tropic Isle and Seaside, which makes no sense, especially on Fourth of July weekend??? There weren’t any extras either. Five umbrellas are nowhere near enough for all the guests for both locations?? We didn’t bring our own beach gear because we expected the hotel to have enough...

"The room was modern and clean. Only negative there was there wasn’t a microwave. The issues were that the check in office is at a different location with no parking. After walking to the office, I learned that parking near your room is also not guaranteed. We did get lucky and found a spot but did not want to drive anywhere and loose our spot."

"My husband and I arrived at the hotel on Thursday after a long drive and we were provided with a room right away. That part was really good. On Friday we left early to the beach and when return to the room we noticed that the room had not been cleaned. I contacted the front desk, and the manager told me that it had been an oversite from the housekeeping department. He told me that my room would be cleaned first thing on Saturday morning. "Front desk was very helpful! Our first rooms A/C was not working so they were able to get us into another room. The breakfast is NOT worth the money! Don’t spend your money! Also they charge gratuity even though they don’t serve you. There’s only one lady in the bar area that’s rude and ruins it for the rest. Everyone else is great!! Unfortunately I never got her name. I would stay again because of the convenience of the location, drinks are good and overall staff is very nice and helpful."

"This is the third time I’ve stayed in this hotel. The first time was perfect. The last two times they were issues my second time it was extremely noisy, banging on walls all night and people standing and talking in front of my door. This time I was putting in a room where the air conditioning could not be adjusted. It can only be set to 64°, which was extremely cold. Each day I am told a manager reach out to me, but they never do forgiven false promises of a discounted rate."
