"Rooms had tires and dirty carpet but very clean bathrooms. No A/C and no screens on the windows. Restaurant and food were excellent. Pictures in listing were very “generous” and seemed like a misrepresentation. Views and staff were amazing."

"We so enjoyed our stay at Blarcreen House. David and Deirdre were very welcoming and very helpful. They directed us to a great parking place in Oban for when we went on a three island tour. They encouraged us to explore the area right around the house. We even made friends with the cats and the cows. And their breakfast service was so very elegant and tasty."

"The public areas of the hotel were clean and comfortable but my room was downright scruffy. The carpet was fraying in places and although the toilet, sink and shower in the bathroom were clean the room itself was in need of attention. The only good thing about the room was the view! HOWEVER I understand that the hotel is in the process of renovation, in fact work was in progress in one room on my floor so I was probably unlucky in the timing of my visit. "Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here.
