"Bathroom door has rotted away at the bottom. This causes a musty damp smell which filled the room overnight. The strong smell of dust wasn’t pleasant either. Marks on walls very bright LED light in the heating control lit up the room whilst trying to sleep. Luckily we found a plaster in our wash bag to cover some of it up. Awful one sheet at a time toilet paper dispenser. Really not acceptable in a hotel room. Parking was free and lots of it. Chose this place as we knew we would arrive late and...

"I loved my stay at The Beetroot. Michael was really helpful, and lovely to meet; he also gave me an early check-in which was great. Sam who was doing work around the car park was also really nice and really helpful. The room itself was perfect - comfortable bed, great selection of teas and I loved the decor of the bathroom. The location was perfect, too - so close walking distance to everything: restaurants, cafes, the beach, and all the tourist attractions. I only wish I could have stayed...
