Top Isle of Wight Hotel Reviews

Dorset Hotel
8/10 Good
"Very nice hotel which is centrally located and ideal for both town and the esplanade, breakfast was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The shower pressure was good and the only change I would make to a premier room would be a larger TV and a fridge. Otherwise it was the perfect place to stay."

Royal Esplanade Hotel
8/10 Good
"I particularly liked the location of the hotel which is near the pierhead the trains and the bus terminus
There is a good restaurant and bar
The armchairs in the lounge could go with replacing but if you like Victorian hotels you will like this"

The Birdham Hotel & Restaurant
6/10 Okay
"Okay"

Pinnacle Suites
10/10 Excellent
"No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26)."

New Holmwood Hotel

The Royal Hotel

Yelf's Hotel
8/10 Good
"The location and standard of the hotel was great, and the scaffolders turned up at 6am, end of sleep"

Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park
6/10 Okay
"We have stayed at Away resorts many times, this tie we stayed at 6 Tribeco, Whitecliff Bay holiday Park in my mind is a middle of the road resort and only as good as the staff that operate it, the property we stay in had not been cleaned that well, we don't have pets, however this property had also previously had pets there, when looking at the patio doors I could see where a Dog had been there possibly for quiet some time as there were lots of paw prints on the window and at the height of the dogs head noise and mouth marks, also what should have been clean plates and glasses left on the dining table covered in dust looked like they had been there for some time, all the window blinds were dusty, the shower control seemed to be adjustable, it seems to be quite standard these days, it does not put us of as i understand what a sloppy world we live in these days, first thing we always do is clean all plates etc, Hot Tub was very good, as i say we have stayed at Away resorts many times, and will be staying a another site on the isle white in a months time, however when ever we rebook there never seems to be much in the way of customer loyalty discount, also it would be nice to get into the property much sooner then 4pm as some properties are clearly supposedly ready well before that time, and some times we have been told to wait until 4pm then been given the keys only to find that nothing has been cleaned and it definatly not ready for occupation?"

One Holyrood Hotel
8/10 Good
"Entertaining stay!
The hotel itself is really nice, it's very clean and tidy throughout, which is so important to me personally.
My room was roomy and had all that I required for a one night stay, even longer would have been fine also.
the bathroom while a mixture of modern and old fashioned, again was fine for my stay, it had a lovely walking show fitted with a rain head, which was all very nice, toilet & sink though were a horrid pink, bit functional, although the cold tap had to be turned in the wrong directionion to make it work, which is like to see replaced with a new set, so they worked as expected.
Breakfast was excellent, the quality of the produce used was excellent and this alone would make me return for another stopover, which I shall.
My only criticism is that the fire alarm went off just after midnight, which turned into a right nightmare, as there was noone on site form the hotel itself, so 4 of us were left to try and resolve the problem, which resulted in the fire brigade having to attend and reassure us that we could rest easy for the rest of the night, what a bloody pain that was in the early hours.
