"Very unique property, historic building with a great history, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were larger than most hotels. The bed wasn’t terrible but probably needs a little better mattress. Located in the downtown area pretty easy walk to the waterfront and market. The Seattle homeless are all over the downtown area but seemed to pretty much leave everyone alone! Really enjoyed this hotel!"

"Staff and location could not get better and the basic functions of the hotel worked just fine for those who live on the simple side of life. I only required a one night stay, so the experience was perfect especially for the price. The downsides are, small rooms with dated mechanical systems that could obviously be a struggle at times to make the stay comfortable."

"Although an older hotel, the Mediterrean Inn has updated rooms and bathrooms beautifully. Their lobby is clean and welcoming. The rooftop lounge is lovely with a beautiful view of the Space Needle. Best is the location! Across the street is a Safeway. All along Queen Anne are wonderful ethnic restaurants AND the space needle and most of Seattle's tourist spots are well within walking distance. All for a reasonable price."

"hotel staff were friendly and checkin was easy. We were offered a very early checkin in a room on the ground floor which we took because we were tired after a long overnight flight. the staff asked if we were ok with the ground floor room and when i questioned why they asked, they replied that some people just dont like being on the ground floor. We didnt know that the ground floor room windows were grilled and backed onto the alley way behind. The area is a little sketchy so i did feel a little unsafe. I think the rooms on the other levels would have been quite nice and offered more light. The hotel was convenient to some eating places. There is a security guard outside the hotel- freindly guy who did his job really well. Checkin and check out were quick and easy. Shuttle to the pier was wonderful."
