"Great location, right by the water and ferry. Beautiful big room, great view. Parking was a little far but big so great for a bigger car. Able to unload suitcases at the front door. Breakfast was okay but understaffed. Beautiful pool."

"The views were exquisite. The town of Sirmione was so charming. The breakfast at Hotel Flaminia was superb and offered so many options. The staff was great too. The one caveat that was strange to us was how the shower door didn’t offer privacy. (The toilet had a separate door, so it was only the shower that was affected.) We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids, and the clear shower door opened up to the pull out couch where my kids slept. We made it work by having people gather in one part of the room while a person showered, but it was not ideal. The staff said it wasn’t abnormal for an Italian hotel to have a layout like this, although I’ve never experienced this is any other hotel worldwide."

"Amazing doesn’t begin to describe our experience here at the Belvedere. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay peaceful and enjoyable. Clean quiet suite, amazing breakfast and pool service, front of the house staff courteous and welcoming. Shuttle service efficient. The hidden little library was adorable, with books and games- we enjoyed playing backgammon by the lake! By far, one of the best places we have stayed in the world."

"The Villa Serbelloni is a very beautiful and well-kept property, and has some of the most amazing views of Lake Como! Watching the sunrise and sunset were spectacular! The service at the hotel and its restaurants was excellent. The location is walkable to the ferries and the property has its own dock, where one can arrange for a private boat tour of the lake. We highly recommend the Villa Serballoni to anyone planning on visiting Lake Como. One of our best vacations ever!"
Hotel Tre Vele

"Pleasant stay at The Hotel Tre Vele which has a beautiful setting, right on the lake shore. Not the easiest to get to and from, a car is recommended, as the buses are erratic and taxis expensive. We arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm and were truly soaked. A warmer welcome would have been appreciated. On the whole staff were exceptional. Valeria helped us with plans for a day out and, when my husband left his hat at a cafe in a neighbouring town, went out of her way to go and get it for him. The restaurant staff were also very attentive. The restaurant is limited to breakfast and light lunch but there is a bar service all day. Room 19 was spacious and had a partial lake view. It would be even better with a kettle and small fridge. (I requested a kettle which never arrived, but was able to get hot water from the bar)."
