I prepaid for a room for my son traveling across country. I called the hotel ahead of time to let him know he would be a late check-in. When he arrived later that evening, He was given such a hard time at the front desk because it was so late 10-11pm And he was told he couldn’t get a room… But they did end up accommodating him. The room itself Had some issues. The drain in the shower would not stay open, so the water did not drain properly. The heat in the room did not work and it is November and a little chilly so heat would’ve been nice… But after driving all day and arriving so late, he wasn’t about to contact the front desk. All he wanted to do was take a shower and get some sleep. I doubt they would’ve done anything for him anyway.. Based on how he was treated at check-in. The breakfast was also subpar. He got there a little close to breakfast was ending so understandably, they may have started putting a few things away. But he found the selection, quite lacking, not even any yogurt, No pastries. Not much to grab and go, even if they were going to put away any hot food items you could’ve left a little more out in terms of cold stuff or things that people could grab to go. I mean you get what you pay for this hotel cost $98 for one night so that is reflected in the quality of rooms and the quality of service. He did note that he didn’t see any bugs so that’s one good thing I’ll say. I realize there may not be a whole lot of quality options in Jackson, Tennessee…
