"There is no staff and when we arrived we could not get the door open to the lobby. There was a phone number to call and it went to voicemail. I contacted Expedia and tried to cancel the reservation after seeing the property and I was denied.
They advertised an elevator, but they do not have one in the building.
We eventually got into the lobby (after they said to kick the door a few times) to view the recorded message about how to get in the room! We had a code to use on the door and we had to schlep our luggage up a long staircase, this is not what was advertised. The room was clean and the accommodations were decent, except for the lack of security. The door chain was hanging by a small hook and was easily lifted up with a finger. There was no staff and no hotel of any kind. This is a room in a building.
We hated the town and the ridiculous large statues, it was a waste of time.
I asked them to let me cancel and they refused, so I feel like I need to be honest here. Do not go there if you are expecting a hotel.
The exterior illegal construction elevator that was not working was a safety hazard. The door at the end of the hallway just opened up to a death drop if you accidently walked through the door. No safety, no sign, just real negligence."
