"Nice bintage architecture. Food menu showed many items, but most items were unavailable. The free breakfast had the same few underwhelming items everyday. There was no soundproofing for the room. The so called gym had only two cardio exercise machine, but no weights. Would recommend the Radison by Eden beach instead. "

"A perfectly charming hotel with the friendliest, most thoughtful staff of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were there five nights in a spacious room with beautiful appointments. The pool is perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. The front desk arranged a sailboat cruise for us and yoga every morning on the roof at 6:30 AM. I can’t wait to come back to this dreamy place a block from the ocean. "

The hotel staff were neither friendly nor rude but just came across as indifferent but not what I’m used to when dealing with hospitality employees. But then mostly everyone I interacted in Pondicherry seemed like that so it must be a regional thing. There was no daily housekeeping which also seemed odd. Despite these things, I would stay here again solely for the charm of the building and convenient location. Just two short blocks to the ocean."
