"The place is absolutely beautiful. The setting is perfect. The staff was kind and helpful. Here are a few little things that would have made it a perfect experience. The breakfast on both days was original and interesting. However, it was supposed to be hot not like warm. Outside of our room by the water station was a tray of dirty cups that was there untouched for three days. It may seem petty but our bathroom had only a single roll of TP that was almost used up. The mentioned complementary...

"Perfect for a one night stay"

"Upon arrival the door to the room we were assigned was wide open."

"The room was infested with roaches. There was food left ln the micowave that had gone bad. The bathroom had not been cleaned. We have stayed there a couple of times before with no problem but it has definitely gone down. Will never stay there again"

"Toilet flushing was finicky. No towels were in the room, so we walked over to the office to get those. Room reasonably clean, except behind doors. New laminate flooring looks nice but really needed a good mopping!"

"It was"

"We absolutely loved our stay! The property was so cute, cozy, and incredibly clean. It’s within walking distance of a beautiful winery, and you even get a 10% discount just for staying at the bed and breakfast! Such a nice little perk! And Miss Olga makes the BEST omelets! Everything about our stay was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!"

"I am writing this review based on Room 3. We were very disappointed with the room for many reasons, so much so, we checked out after one night with no expectation of a credit for the unused night. The room and bath are very dated, the bathroom shower curtain is held up with PVC, the toiletries were minimal, the bed creaked with the slightest movement keeping both myself and spouse awake most of the night, the furniture is mismatched and dated, the freezer was frosted over, the coffee was an open...

"Fair walk to town and no sidewalk. Harpers Ferry well worth a viisit."

"Most importantly, the cleanliness of the room and the staff were absolutely excellent. We stayed in the Hawthorn North Suite. Room: I would have enjoyed a firmer mattress. My wife had no complaints, but I had to place a pillow under my legs for back comfort. The soaking tub was quite nice; however, only one person could fit in the tub and there were no built-in water or air jets. Cottage: There was a beautiful, in-tune piano to which we had access. There was also a pool table in the...

"The temperature in the room was set up at 73° and the thermostat was locked. The attendant did not want to unlock it, and I had to demand the owner of the property to be called at which time the key for the box was found, and I was allowed to adjust the temperature in the room."

"The hotel was very clean. The staff was extremely helpful, we had an issue with our toilet and somebody immediately came up and fixed it."
