The hotel is in walking distance from most of the Old City, but most every hotel is also in walking distance so not a huge plus. In our long trip to the Middle East, this hotel is the worst. The lobby and coffee shop is very acceptable. Once you are in the room area the carpets are worn, torn and dirty. There is the random stray cat and kittens roaming the halls so that adds to the smell. Most hotel bed sheets/duvet will hang down on each side and the end on the bed. In the National they not only did not hand down but were 4 inches narrower than the top of the bed. We were not covered. The shower was full of mold. Two times we had questions for the front desk and called.... No answer. so we went down and could only find a custodian, who in his defense, was very nice and attempted to help.
Good luck with this one. We had paid in advance for 3 night and could only make it 2 nights. We threw away a paid night and went elsewhere.
Good luck with this one.
