"Spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds. Fantastic location so close to the city centre and harbour yet so peaceful and quiet. We loved Split, fantastic history, very clean, beautiful to look at, friendly and safe. And even a beautiful beach for swimming. We would love to have stayed longer, we will return and stay in Villa Matejuska again."

"We got a really friendly welcome, even though we arrived in the middle of the night. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped with coffee, tea and a simple breakfast. Lovely, soft towels, a basket of products in the bathroom and lots of pillows on the bed added to the sense of luxury. We would definitely recommend staying here!"

"We stayed for two nights during rainy weather in late May. The entrance was a bit hard to find with only a small sign and an anonymous hallway, but we got some help from a bar nearby and was able to locate it after 2-3 minutes of asking around.
Out hostess was friendly and helpful. Hotels.com had slightly messed up our bed configuration in the booking, but she took care of everything and sorted it out. The room was spacious and had a kitchen in the corner and a seating area. There's a small...
