"Hotel San Antonio is the main hotel in this group and facilities are in this hotel but a short walk away and right next to beach and bars/restaurants. Staff ok and knowledgeable, helpful when asked. Not many shops close by and centre of split is a good 20 mins taxi ride, busses are available but not used by us."

I don’t think this was clearly conveyed in the property description. For somebody trying to roll a heavy bag this may be difficult on the cobblestone streets.
The description also said it was beachfront where It is nowhere near a beach.
Lastly, I am 6 foot four and the bed was too short for me. With a sharp edged footboard it was...
"Our room was the one with piano. The room was spacious with a living room, and we found a safe in our bedroom which was very convenient for lock some valuables. Our host was helpful, and made the check in process very smooth. It was hard to find a parking space around the apartment, but there was a large car park 5mins walk away."

Welcome platter of cheese, salami, and prosciutto (prsut) with a glass of local wine was a very nice surprise. Easy access by foot to old town of Trogir; very picturesque; nice view from hotel dining room."
