Our shower barely had any pressure, the safe didn’t work and we didn’t have a luggage stand to place our luggage on. We really enjoyed our stay, but the little inconveniences just added up. "Hair on pillows. Add 10 minutes to get hot shower water. Paper thin walls. We heard conversations and loud partying at night. Air conditioner kicks on and it sounds like a rocket launch. The room gets very cold and then hot. Furniture is worn in the room and lobby. Forget the 6:30 AM breakfast. At 6:40 AM the lights were off, no food was out and the set up person ignored us. RUN."

"Overall a very nice stay. We would have liked daily house keeping and overall more friendly staffing. All staff where doing what was needed but not all of them with heart behind the service. We also did not enjoy the comfort of the bed and pillows. The rooms and the resort are beautiful though and the atmosphere was fabulous. The pool is nice however daily cleaning of it would make it nicer. It seemed to need a shocking. The food was satisfactory to good however unlimited fresh water beverages...

"There was termites all over the room and in the bathroom . This was reported immediately and nothing was done. The shower was clogged and just did not drain for over 24 hours. The bed was broken and detached from wall/ frame, also reported immediately and nothing was done. I was only staying 2 nights so I made it work but would not go back. Property is in a state of disrepair."

"Bahia Bay Resort was a nice secluded and safe location for a quick getaway. There needs to be more than 2 lounge chairs for the property and hair conditioner would be nice besides shampoo and soap. I would also recommend check in to be earlier than 4:00pm especially with there not being many beach activities to do in Key Largo to kill time. Overall if you are looking for something different than a hotel I would recommend this property."

"The property was nice. I had requested a view room and believed I paid for one through Expedia but got a room without a balcony or a window to open and it faced a wall. No view. I was offered to move for my last 2 days and I would have had to pay more."

The hotel was a nice, small and quiet - it is also in a convenient location for those traveling to and from the Keys.
