"The staff call Joe was not helpful at all. I have booked 5 nights at the very beginning, then booked another 3 nights for additional extend. He told me if I don't want to change the room, I have to pay US$10 dollar more on each day. Next day, when I checked out and checked in again for the extension. the lady's name I forgot, may be Kim or Kathy. She told me I don't have to change the room, that's fine. She didn't ask me to pay $10 more on each day. Joe should know it is allowed and I asked him a day before, if I need to change the room, can I change earlier if there is a room available, so I don't have to wait unit 2 pm for checking in again. He said he cannot guarantee. I have to ask again in the morning. I went down the next day at 10 am. The lady I mentioned above, let me stay in the same room and no need to change the room. This is the difference, different people with different service, they should try to make thing easier, not like Joe, made me so inconvenient. He told me I need to change a room. So the day before I spent time to pack everything and get ready to change room. End up I don't have to change the room. He waste my time for packing up."

"Positive on easy assess to restaurants & shops, negative on vicinity to wet market. Walking from metro with luggage to hotel through the market with livestock smell & wet ground was not pleasant. Because of nearby market & age of hotel, there’s an odd stale scent in the room air. Did not even provide hand towels, only two limpy fiber bath towels. No complimentary bottled water. Tissue was in a box but it was a roll of toilet paper. Very limited electrical outlet. We had to use water boil on floor. This hotel probably had its golden year 3 or 4 decades ago."

"Quick check in and check out. Hotel cleaning staff was great; we were about to head out for the day, she was cleaning the room next to us. We asked that she replace the towels only, she came into our room and spent a few extra minutes and cleaned the entire washroom."

"The room is clean and spacious. Very comfortable and cozy. It will be better if there is a supply of bottle of water in the room. "

"This is a nice property and my room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have about the room is that there were no outlets next to or near the bed, so you had to charge your devices across the room. The hotel is located about a block away from the nearest metro station. Location-wise, I probably would stay somewhere closer to the main areas on Hong Kong island. Every point of interest was several metro stops away and it took time to get to where I wanted to go. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but if location is important you might want to consider another property. "
