Great apartment and location

Location is just a couple of minutes' walk from the restaurants and shops of Rosebank mall. You get a whole apartment for the cost of a hotel room. Clean, tidy. Friendly staff at the building reception. Netflix provided.

Great for a one night stay

Great property within walking distance of Rosebank Mall. Smaller rooms though with no air conditioning but it was not hot during our stay. Nice kitchen. Had ironing facilities which we loved. But furniture starting to look a bit dated. Oh…and we were changed rooms, which was a bit of a bother.

The rooms are clean and tastefully furnished. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is available The access is safe and secure and it was easy to find. The communication with the host was impeccable and fast from booking all the way till we checked out. He gave us lots of tips and information on the area. This property is conveniently located to shopping and dining areas. Parking is easy to access. If you are looking for a convenient location to shopping and dining, this place is really just few minutes walk away from all. On my next stopover, I would choose this property once again. I would like to thank the host for all the help and information he has given me.

The place was close to the mall, literally across the street. The area was walkable and safe. I was able to do my morning run around the area and felt very peaceful. This area doesn’t represent Joburg at all, but it’s a good place to use as a home base to come back to and feel comfy. The shower door in the outside bathroom is a bit funny, doesn’t quite block in the water, something that can be improved on.

My apartment was over the generator exhaust pipe which meant the living room was smokey at times. I had booked for 3 weeks and continuously asked to change apartments after the first four days. They didn’t manage this and the only information I received was that there might be a room ‘next week’. Couch and mattress where aged and saggy, all other amenities where good. Good location but fairly loud.

Rosebank stay

The apartment is very clean and in a safe and convenient area of Rosebank. The secure parking, although tight, is safe and secure. Communication with staff, however, has been abysmal. We had internet connectivity problems but nobody answered either of the two phone numbers listed to call. As well, I was told I would receive a text with the lock box code to leave my keys in when I check out, but no text has come and I've no idea where they want the keys left. Finally, the bed is quite hard and uncomfortable and we spent a couple of nights tossing a great deal.

Clive was awesome during the check in process and the cleaning ladies in the complex were friendly and helpful. The property is close to shopping , entertainment and restaurants. Also close to public transportation , taxi and very easy to order Bolt or Uber. Only cons : only one key for the apartment, the water pressure was low.
