"It was within walking distance to many restaurants and breweries and the hotel also has a shuttle.
Our room was clean, the staff was nice.
It was not a quiet room — there was road construction nearby which can’t be helped, but I could also hear an alarm in a nearby room."

"Very cool hotel, clean, quaint. The room was cute and decorated very stylish. Good location for the event we were attending. Communicating with staff was easy and quick responses.
Only downside: late in the evening another guest was singing in another room and we heard it in our bathroom? Kinda creeped us out. Luckily not for long."

"They declined our reservation. Even though it was booked for FIVE MONTHS. No call ahead of time or no email ahead of time to make us aware of any situation. They somehow overbooked their hotel. Idk how that happens when your amount of rooms dont change. Poor excuse. Poor customer service."

"We arrived at 4:00 pm and waited 20 minutes in line to find the room was not ready. The staff stored our luggage and said they would call us when the room was available. We never received a call and finally returned to the hotel at 7:30 pm to find that the room was ready and given a brief apology for not calling. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. At the very least the Amway Grand could have comped our parking for the inconvenience. Our room was just above the exterior patio with...

"Enjoyed our stay in the modern spacious room with comfortable King bed. Many nice places to eat within 5min walk. DeVos Place about 15min walk. Recommend check-in and offload luggage at main hotel entrance ... then park your vehicle. Note that Parking structure is around the block (behind hotel and not connected), the hotel will charge parking to your room (providing you check-in first). Breakfast not included, but hotel has decent restaurant."

"Great location, near the Meijer Gardens and easy to get to downtown Grand Rapids.
Clean property, ample parking, friendly staff. Breakfast was good and great way to start the day. Appreciated the always available coffee, cold water, tea and cookies!
Room was good size, bathroom also with sufficient towels and large counter. Nightlight in bathroom is great. AC unit is not too loud. Nice to have coffee maker, fridge and microwave in room. Plenty of outlets to charge phone, computer etc.
