"The room was spotless, bed and pillows comfy, shower very nice, and plenty of lovely towels, good temperature control. Front desk was very friendly and courteous. My only complaint is that there are not enough valets to fetch cars, especially considering the very steep price- plus tips of course, as it's not the valets' fault. Otherwise, the property was perfect. I would definitely book there again but probably would use a ride service rather than rent a car."

"The hotel is in a great location, its interior is very nice and clean. My critiques are that there wasn’t a useable desk space, they charged $35 for parking, and you have to sign up for their rewards program to use the WiFi. Otherwise a great stay! "

"The property was undergoing renovations when we were there. While the construction did not affect us, they appeared to be understaffed. The check in staff did not appeare to be as knowledgeable as should be and seemed apathetic to our needs. We checked in later in the evening. They only had one person at the makeshift desk at any time. "

"Awesome staff, clean and modern rooms. The location is great. Only critique is that the windows seem thin as even on the 8th floor the sounds from outside were noticeable (cars, max, people). Would not recommend for light sleepers. "

"Clean room. The staff was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful. Only complaint was not having a microwave. The palm court restaurant food was delicious and wait staff was lovely. "

"Rooms are decent but you can hear every time a door closes in another room. The toilet is very low and the lids have to be closed before you can flush and they slam each time. The restaurant is closed at night and there are very few nearby options. The checkin area is right by the sliding doors so staff have to use a space heater to keep warm. Overall I would not stay here for “pleasure “ again. "

The location is excellent, but what really stood out was the staff—professional, attentive, and truly welcoming. The atmosphere felt inclusive, relaxed, and easy from start to finish. Easily one of my favorite places to stay in Portland."
