"Staff were excellent"

"The man at the front desk just handed me a key. He did not say anything about the breakfast, gym or dock on the salt pond. Another guest told us about the breakfast. It was the May long weekend and neither the pool or hot tub were open. Or maybe they were open but I couldn’t understand the man cleaning the pool! The pool is not heated and hot tub was cold. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They had a bar fridge and microwave but no coffee maker . The bathroom was dated with poor...

"Clean and very nice location. Nice parking and easy to go to places in Newport. The receptionist upgraded my room and was so helpful and kind. The room they upgraded me was specious, and it had a nice view of the pond. I recommend this place and I will be back."

"The staff were nice, but the room smelled awful. I wasn't sure what the smell was, old smoke possibly. The bed barely fit in the odd shaped room. The floor was tile and felt unclean. When I pulled back the top sheet on the bed there was dirt in the bed. There wasn't a way to plug in my phone charger near my bed as the only side table was up against a door to another room with no outlet nearby. The walls were so thin that I was kept up well past midnight from the party that was going on next...

"This was a perfectly fine hotel for a quick two-night stay in the area. It was conveniently located right next to a Dunkin' Donuts, making the morning coffee run super easy. The hotel itself was under renovations, so there was a lot of construction stuff around. That said, the hotel was amazingly quiet, so I was able to sleep soundly both nights. "This quaint hotel right on the water was a perfect destination for our anniversary trip. While the staff was just getting up to speed as the season was beginning, they still went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Don't expect a huge room, but that is part of the charm."

"It was just perfect! I only have one complaint, I rented this particular room with a door opening outside on the porch to be able to smoke. They still wouldn't allow any smoking outside your door. Unfortunately it rained out entire stay with no where dry to smoke. I understand , but for us smokers it wasn't pleasant. But it is very clean and well maintained with a lot of nice amenities!"
