This is an old, historic hotel. I didn’t have expectations of luxury. However - “mountain view” rooms should be called “non fjord view”. I suppose mountain view is technically correct but it’s a little too cute by half to get around advising people in advance that they don’t actually get a fjord ...

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a two bedroom - just a note that it is a bit of a walk from the main hotel area down the road, so if anyone has mobility issues they should be aware of that. The staff were really lovely and accommodating and offered us early check in as we arrived on the bus ...

Perfect Experience. Staff at reception when we arrived was super nice. She went out of her way to help us with plates and lighter (as we wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday), so was super happy with her. Same for breakfast, we were only 2 people in that hotel for that night (due to off season) ...
