"The property was clean and very comfortable, super cozy - it genuinely felt like home. The scenery was to die for and it was in close proximity to all the fun and adventurous activities. The host family was extremely nice and very helpful. There’s a nice restaurant about 5 minutes from the property, including a grocery store; there is also a cafe about 2 minutes away driving or less than 10 minutes walking distance."

"It was a magical experience, truly a hidden gem! We have explored a ton of Norway on this trip but our short time at Hotel Videseter was a highlight. Great food, friendly staff and breathtaking views. Highly recommended."

"Chambre avec salle de bain et wc partagés (4 chambres) à un prix intéressant. Un bon petit déjeuner local préparé au fur et à mesure. Il faut reserver un créneau horaire du coup ( assez à l avance pour dejeuner tôt). Assez silencieux la nuit malgré la route qui borde. Le repas du soir était tres bien a un prix correct avec une offre de produits régionaux (elk et reindeer)."

"Unbelievable view of the fjord right from our room’s window. Very nice and helpful staff. Convenient parking just outside the hotel. Great hikes in the vicinity including waterfall, where you can actually get behind the waterfall itself. You can ask the staff how to get there. Would come back here anytime!"

"Beautiful town with really nice hiking. This guest house was very comfortable with a very friendly and knowledgeable host. Some of the details on hotels.com are a bit misleading though: there is no spa and the breakfast is actually at a neighbouring hotel (which also has a restaurant with delicious food). There was no TV in the room, buy the room was spacious and comfortable and we had access to a kitchen that was shared with guests in 2 other rooms."
