"The rooms were beautiful and mostly clean, one of our rooms had a mildew smell abut kind of expected given the location. It's incredible to me there even is running water or electricity. Breakfast was great, fun to be staying right there, but be prepared for many many stairs. "

Parking on site is easy - and its possible to walk from the property to the shuttle bus to access Mont St Michel, or even walk the whole way if you are feeling energetic! The hosts will give directions if needed as it’s not an immediately obvious route (parking at the Mont is quite expensive so this can save a lot of money). "The room was a small room with a musty bathroom. It was grand for just one night. It was centrally located - in an annex of the hotel where the reception was. The view was of the overgrown yard space. You are paying to stay on Mont Saint Michel not for luxurious surroundings. Breakfast was at a nearby restaurant and was good and plentiful. Parking was a mystery - we were told to go to a hotel on the mainland to get instructions about our hotel location but no advice was given about how to access...
