Amazing place to stay

We had the best weekend staying here! The owner is so helpful and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was incredible. The rooms were lovely and the surrounding area is beautiful. Cannot wait to come back again!!

A Gorgeous Location

If you are planning a visit to Kaeng Krachan National Park or the surrounding area, then I highly recommend this nature lodge. Our room was comfortable and the staff friendly and knowledgable about the area. There are several birding sites on the property and it‘s just a 15 minute drive to the park entrance.

Great for nature lovers of all kinds

Very well situated for bird watching, for finding insects and snakes, for enjoying the stars at night or just for a great getaway. Friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, easily accessible from Bangkok, has its own trail and lake access, and very close to the great national park. Good food, comfortable huts and reasonable prices.

Beautiful grounds in the middle of nowhere

The hotel is situated on beautiful grounds. There are a number of walking trails within the grounds including a trail up a hill with great views over the surrounding valley. Maybe 90 minutes walk, a decent level of fitness and good shoes required, but there are several shorter jungle trails. There’s a restaurant on site with Thai prices (ie:cheap) amd much of the produce is grown on site. You can walk through the area where produce is being grown. The room itself was adequate. No tv and the wifi was so poor as to be useless. No other phone reception available either, although apparently AIS gets service. Hotel is along a very quiet country road. Maybe the last 1km or so is dirt and pot hole filled, but manageable in a small car with some care. Staff were friendly enough but little to no English spoken during our stay. The main reason to stay here is a pretty good one, being that it is one of the closest hotels to the entrance of Kaeng Krachan National Park. About 15km drive but there literally wasn’t anything closer that was open during the pandemic, and perhaps only two places that would be closer if they were open which both looked rather basic. There are no shops or other services within about 15km of the hotel, so come prepared. Would definitely recommend it if the national park is your destination but aside from that there’s little reason to go. The hotel has its own website which is a pretty accurate summary of what you can expect.
