"The location was great but the hotel itself was disappointing.
It has a lovely beach but it wasn’t kept clean. Toys and items of trash were still there the following 2 days. The chairs were never straightened and no umbrellas were provided as stated in the advertising. I guess maybe it isn’t there tourist season yet? We assumed they would be ready Memorial Day weekend.
As we were trying to relax and enjoy the lake view from the beach, they began to run the power washer to clean lounge chairs from storage. This went on all day. It kind of took away from the peacefulness we were hoping to experience. Maybe it’s better to stay midsummer. ??
The double room set up was nice but it wasn’t very clean. The curtains had stains and when we went to use the movable mirror on the sink counter, we discovered mold growing around it. The room also needed a good vacuuming.
The nicest part of this hotel was the pool and hot tub."
