My family love every thing about this place

We ended up here after a self designed tour of Sri Lanka. It is an excellent hotel and the service was second to none. It has wonderful gardens and as swimmers we appreciated the very impressive pool. We used two of the restaurants and found the food good. It was a great climax to our holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the facilities the hotel offered.

A nice all-inclusive. Good range of drinks available all day, A little too much time between meals but snacks available. Good buffet and nice private meal in the garden terrace which was prepared especially for us which was very kind from the Chef.

The hotel is newly opened and some parts are not yet operational like the ocean wing and some of its restaurants. However we loved our stay and wish to come back when the hotel has 100% occupancy. The food the room the service is a class apart. The staff delights you from the time u enter and the time you exit the hotel.. I loved the way they welcomed us with a cultural dance and bid us good bye by tying a yellow thread in our hand for a safe journey.. The best part of the hotel is...

Lovely small hideaway hotel by secluded beach. Just me and the fishermen. Personal attention. Nice pool and garden. Nicely prepared menu.

The staff were fantastic. The food was very good, especially the vegetarian curries. Hygiene standards were very high. The facilities were fine; a good sized pool, plenty of sun-loungers and an ok gym. The spa is worth visiting - excellent massages.

The resort was very smart, and beautifully appointed. Staff were constantly cleaning, and tidying in the grounds, and the restaurant workers and poolboys very attentive.

We stayed here for 20 nights and got to know the hotel and staff pretty well. It is a great place to relax and although the ocean can be a little rough, we managed to swim everyday. Food quality is very good, especially the seafood restaurant. Same prices as local restaurants, but much better quality and hygiene. No need to leave hotel! Only gripe was music by the pool. A lovel "boutique" hotel on the banks of the river and minutes from the sea. Full of character, with a veranda where you can have breakfast overlooking the water and a small infiniti pool shaded by a tree. Nothing was too much trouble for the manager - tables at local restaurant, boats to transport you the short distance to the sea. Great if you are looking for an alternative to the large corporate "all you can eat" resorts in the area.

We spent an amazing holiday at Citrus Hotel. The personnel is very friendly and accommodated our requests. Since we found Sri Lankan food too spicy, the hotel kindly prepared special (and delicious!) meals for us. The buffet offers a wide variety of options. Both the hotel and the grounds are very spacious and although the place was fully booked, it did not feel crowded. We stayed for four nights and absolutely loved this place. Firstly the location was lovely, right on the river bank. Very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was served in the garden overlooking the water.
