Kleines Hotel in der Nähe vom Kamala Beach
Kleines Hotel in der Nähe vom Kamala Beach. Tagsüber ist der Strand fußläufig ohne Probleme in ca. 10min zu erreichen. In direkter Nähe ist ein großer Supermarkt. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass der Airport Bus fast direkt vor dem Hotel hält und somit eine Anreise vom Flughafen kostengünstig und einfach funktioniert. Die direkte Umgebung des Hotels ist nicht sonderlich schön und der Weg abends zum Strand bzw. zur Restaurantmeile am Kamala Beach führt entlang einer maßig beleuchteten Straße. Das Personal, hier speziell Mr. Tee ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hierfür nochmal Dankeschön. Alles in allem kann man dieses Hotel empfehlen, da das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis einfach passt.

Probably wouldn’t book there again.
This hotel has the great advantage of being located close to Kamala Beach. The staff are really nice, helpful and welcoming. However, the Deluxe room are extremely noisy as the road down is pretty busy (maybe better to book the rooms on the other side with swimming pool view). We booked for three adults, supposedly 1 king bed and one single bed. The single bed ended up being a very narrow couch under the curtains impossible to move and extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast was quite good. Strictly no water available after a certain hour in the evening (we weren’t warned about this so couldn’t shower, wash hands etc when coming back in the evening)

Excellent hotel for a casual stay in Kamala Beach
A Very Special THANKS to Mr Tee and his team for this perfect hotel , 8 min from the main beach Kamala, the room is comfi even the one on the street , the garden with flowers and trees is beautiful and very well maintained, nice swiming pool and a sweet breakfast with a wonderful staff. Vi fick byta rum efter första natten, felbokade ? Fick Då våra riktiga rum. Trista rum med minimal balkong mot en trist pool. Ser bättre ut på bilder . Vi åkte på båttur och blev lovade frukost innan start av frukost. Ingen frukost fanns och vi fick åka utan. Sura oförstående miner. Hotell och restaurang olika ägare. Svensk personal i form av ung man som var ointresserad av att ge service. Verkade inte vilja visa att han pratade svenska och skulle kunna vara en stor tillgång för hotellet om han hade en skylt på sig att han pratar svenska. Annan personal pratade dålig engelska. Positivt var taxi chaufför som var mycket på hotellet. Bokade längre transport av till bra pris.

Das Bett war einfach ein Traum. Sehr groß, schön und total bequem. Hervorzuheben ist auch die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Die konnten sich immer an unsere Namen erinnern und haben häufig nachgefragt, ob aich alles passt oder ob wir Hilfe brauchen. Mit der Sauberkeit haben sie es nicht so ernst genommen. Flecken in der Dusche und Getränkeränder auf dem Tisch. Aber das war auch das einzig negative.

Very good location 5min walk from the beach, close to stores and restaurants. The manager Mr Tee was extremely helpful and fun. Even though it was low season, the hotel was very well maintained, and we were able to enjoy a clean pool. There is no elevator, which wasn’t a problem for us. The room was big, clean and nicely decorated. We’d stay again for sure!

Excellent service, lots of friendly staff wanting to help out whenever we needed anything. Spoke a little English. Older rooms, but clean and comfortable rooms. Nice pool. Good restaurant.

We are 3 French we stayed almost 15 days in Kamala. Very nice hotel very spacious, clean, modern, very nice. Hotel very well located 3 minutes walk from the beach. What we liked the most, the kindness and professionalism of the hosts. Mr. Tee and all his team are great people, extremely kind, competent and adorable. We loved meeting them. I recommend this hotel, and will be happy to return, it was a pleasant surprise. Thanks for all to the team! See you soon!

Confortable hotel, good location, friendly staff
Everything was nice, price comparing to quality was good. Hotel was clean, property in good condition, location was really good (five minutes walk to most popular restaurants / beach). Staff was friendly and helpful, everything worked just fine - I recommend!

Disappointed
The area around the hotel is not so good, unkempt and smelly in places. It is in a good location being only 5 minutes from beach, shops and restaurants. The "restaurant "on site is only open 8 to 8 and has a limited menu and there is no bar. There is a 7/11 shop across the road for anything required. Rooms were large and bed was huge and comfortable and there was air conditioning. Great shower, big and roomy. The hotel was clean and all the staff were very helpful. Our main gripe is that for a hotel of approximately 40 rooms, there were only 6 sunbeds. As we are not beachy people, we had to get up early to put a towel on the bed to reserve it. Our room was described as garden/mountain view. Yes we could see the mountains to the side of the balcony if we leaned over it but directly in front was just greenery and on a main road. No sign of a garden. NO double glazing of course so was very noisy, not at all pleasant to sit out on.

Rena och fräscha rum, personalen trevlig och hjälpsam. Inte bästa läge men ändå hyfsat nära supermarkets och restauranger. Helt klart prisvärt.

Einen schönen hotel!
Wir hatten einen schönen aufenthalt im Hotel Sungthong. Die Mitarbeitern sind sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit..Umgebung ist auch schön da Big C Supermarket in die nähe ist.. Strand ist am Fuss schnell erreichbar..Und gegenüber Big C gibt es einen Frische Markt mit Produkten wie Obst und Gemüse und auch etwas lokales essbares zu verkaufen..Sind lecker und frisch zubereitet..Gerne wir werden wieder kommen! Mr.T und die gesamte Team sind super! :)

Séjour détente et balnéaire
Bon établissement mais avec mobilier vieillissant. Belle chambre avec vue sur la piscine. Par contre, côté route très brouillant. Distant du centre à pied. Qualité prix agréable
