Property is condemned. The state of the room we stayed in is evidence of why it should all be condemned. Dirty, insects, gap at bottom of door, taped across carpet, noisy wall fan that was taped to the wall, dirty floor and walls, many holes in the old curtains, dirty windows and sill, no towels, no plug for badly stained tub, little fridge door was hard to open and water leaked onto the dirty carpet. No vacuuming under furniture. Requests for service was belittled or slow or ignored. Female receptionist was arrogant, unaccommodating, patronizing and rude. Outside of our room 425 was dusty, dirty with black cobwebs on the walls and garbage everywhere. Was the job and mostly boarded up old motel just a place to squat? We were shocked when we walked into room 425. As pensioners my sister and I were on a tight budget. Our requests were responded by the female receptionist "Sarah" ?? She at first would not give me her name and questioned why I asked for her name. Finally it sounded like she said said "Sarah". ??? After the 2nd day of me calling the phone number posted on the front office door (landline in the room did not work) "Sarah said the solution was for us to check out". Never in our years have we witnessed such rude, unaccommodating, unfriendly and arrogant service! There was no thought to our safety as elders and our budget and commitment to our Expedia service gave us no choice for our daily trips to Kamloops Hosp. This is being reported to the city of Kamloops.
