"Quiet area, helpful staff. Great pool to take a dip. Bring your mosquito spray if you will be outside at night. Breakfast and dinner were filling, and nicely prepared. They have both buffet and a la carte decently priced for a place like this. Convenient to Sigiriya"

"A little oasis, great rooms, nice pool, very lovely staff!
They also helped with a trip to the rocks, especially the driver was very service-orientated, even handed over small cold towels after the descend."

"Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds.
Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver.
A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. Spider life is rampant so staff could pay more...

"The resort is beautiful, the surrounding lake makes the perfect spot for a morning stroll. The staff was very attentive, the room spacious. We had both a la carts and buffet menu, both were delicious. Convenient location to visit the Lion Rock. "

"Lovely hotel in great surrounding. Fab infinity pool for Insta worthy pics. The food at the hotel was outstanding and by far the best buffets we had during our trip to Sri Lanka and definitely the best hoppers. The hotel is built into a rock. Some areas felt a little dated in decor and check in was a bit slow but this could be due to the large numbers of people staying at the hotel. "Sad case of lovely hotel falling into decay after Covid. We four were only guests for our two day stay. Staff could not do enough but could not find booking, pool very neglected and rooms although enormous could do with a large amount of tender loving care. One I hope succeeds in the future."
