"The only bad thing I have to say about this place was the lack of protein for breakfast. I have to eat gluten-free, and for me, that has morphed into just eating protein for breakfast--eggs, sausage, yogurt, etc. Lots of hotel breakfasts have these options. Days Inn in Kanab does not. Just wheat-based carbs--waffles, muffins, toast, raisin bran, that sort of thing. I did take an apple with me and went to get breakfast elsewhere. On the plus side, though, this did force me to discover the amazing breakfast bowls at Maverik (there's one a little further south on the 89).
But the staff was awesome. I realize they don't get a lot of customers, especially ones that show up at midnight. So they had our keys already packaged up in an envelope with a label, waiting for us at the front desk. Granted, it's not a very secure check-in process. Any wandering homeless person could have walked in and scored themselves a room, for a few hours maybe. But also, I left a special neck-support pillow there after heading down to Phoenix. A few days later I came back and asked for it, and they were able to find it and bring it back to me. Very much appreciated. Thank you!"
