"We had a wonderful stay at Waves and Wildlife at Stokes Bay, Kangaroo Island. The accommodation is set in a beautiful, peaceful location, aptly named for its stunning coastal surroundings and abundance of wildlife. It's also conveniently located close to the spectacular Stokes Bay Beach and the lovely Rockpool Café. Paul and Katja were warm and welcoming hosts who communicated with us throughout the booking process and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the...

"The property’s rural location is fabulous and offers outstanding views across Snelling beach. The ambience is lovely and the property is well equipped. Each pod is well separated from its neighbour. The bed is very comfortable and there is absolute silence at night. Our two night stay was delightful. However, as it is off grid there is no microwave, toaster or washing machine. We were disappointed there were no coat hangers to hang our clothes. It would be advisable to take some insect...

"The whole unit was kept clean and everything needed for kitchen use is available- from whipping up dishes to baking muffins. Quality paper towels and toilet rolls are provided! To find a garden hose to wash our car at the end of our trip was a pleasant surprise. Hot water is limited to a tank a day. We did experience a short supply on our second night and 2/5 family members couldn’t shower with the cold water on a cold day. The hot water came back the next morning. The view of the sea is...

"This was the first time we traveled to Australia and we were so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at Ecopia Retreat in the Residence property! The Residence was beautifully decorated and the back yard was full of wildlife! It was a perfect stay for our family for 4 days. The host was always available and so friendly. The stars at night were unbelievable! Totally off the grid and relaxing and special!"
