Staff was very courteous and helpful, and our check in included a welcome cocktail which was a nice touch. The room was nice, clean, though we booked for two adults and there was only one robe. When we asked about a second they informed us that they didn't have any more...odd. But my biggest complaint was the lack of soundproofing. Being downtown on the weekend, it was sirens all night, which is not unexpected, but even on the 5th floor it felt like they were driving through our room. For a 4 diamond hotel, I would have expected a quieter stay. We had a nice getaway, but would not pay to stay again.

The staff at this Ambassador Hotel was very engaging. They warmly greeted us each time we passed through the lobby and were very efficient checking in a large group of people ahead of us. Truly set the tone of the stay. We were glad to get a room with a view and there is true value in a nice bathroom in the room when out of town. A short walk to power and light district and other event centers. This room fulfilled the very things we were looking for on stay for our day trip to Kansas City.
