"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Barcelona Maya Palace All-Inclusive Resort in Mexico, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The resort is beautifully designed, blending stunning architecture with lush tropical gardens, providing a serene atmosphere ideal for relaxation. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the variety of dining options available; each restaurant offered a unique culinary experience, catering to different tastes, and the food was consistently delicious and fresh. The pools were pristine, and the beach was just a short stroll away, making it easy to enjoy the sun and the sea. I particularly appreciated the range of activities available, from water sports to entertainment shows in the evening, ensuring there was always something to do. Overall, my stay was nothing short of fantastic. The Barcelona Maya Palace All-Inclusive Resort is a wonderful destination for anyone looking to unwind, enjoy great food, and create lasting memories. "We had a wonderful vacation, and the property was nice. The staff were helpful and attentive. Food was quite good, particularly the Italian concept. The pool area is tight, and although we were there on a lower attendance time, I could imagine it being tough to find room. Overall, the experience was good. Playa Del Carmen is its own thing... like most Mexican/ Caribbean spots, the vendors are aggressive almost to the point of seeming threatening, but things are very mellow on property, and they genuinely try to make your stay social. Very nice for a long weekend, but probably not suited for extended stays, unless you intend to do excursions. Recommended."

The chefs don’t know what medium of medium well is apparently. The elevators didn’t work. The pool with swim up bar was ok, but the service was better at the pool downstairs"

"As soon as you get to the property you will get a person talk to you about " the 90 minutes talk" if you say yes they will become your concierge. IF YOU SAY NO!!! YOU WILL BE ON YOUR OWN!!! we tried to get reservations for the restaurant only to be told that they had a problem with the system and cannot book anything!! Everything is blocked!!!! They will tell you to come back the next day.... the coconut that you see in the picture are not free. LAS CUEVAS restaurant is not open. Its a beautiful place for pictures."

"We had an excellent stay at this resort and truly enjoyed our vacation. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our entire stay. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The servers at the buffet restaurant were especially wonderful—always kind, professional, and very attentive. We ate at the buffet most of the time because the food was always fresh, delicious, and offered a wide variety of options to satisfy every taste and dietary preference. The entertainment team also did an amazing job organizing fun activities throughout the day and evening, keeping guests of all ages engaged, happy, and entertained. The resort was extremely clean, the amenities were very well maintained. The only disappointment was the amount of sargassum on the beach. We were lucky enough to enjoy the ocean for the first four days, but during the last three days it was impossible to swim because so much seaweed had washed ashore. As it accumulated, it began to rot and created a very unpleasant smell. We were surprised that the beach wasn’t cleaned more frequently. That said, this did not ruin our vacation. We still had a fantastic time and would absolutely return in the future. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that we have already recommended this resort to our friends, who will be visiting next month. Overall, we highly recommend this resort for its outstanding service, cleanliness, delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional staff"
