"We’ve stayed at the hotel previously overnight, which was fine. On this occasion, we stayed 4 days. Very few places to eat. As we had a late flight, close to midnight, I tried to get a late check out, to stay in the room. On different occasions I was told free until 2pm, second occasion 9000yen and the 3rd request 12000yen. When I requested an additional night I was told 359000 (which equates to $3000+ AUD). "Excellent location but a bit away from the main light rail lines.. very close to all the shops and restaurants in the heart of Shinjuku though. Rooms were small but functional, if you're concerned about the bed, you can ask for additional mattress pads for more "western" style comfort."
