"This hotel/resort is absolutely amazing. It is quiet and beautiful. It reenergized my wife and I after a very busy few years at work that were taxing on us. Staff is amazing, kind, and helpful.
The hotel is furnished beautifully with most of the structure of polished meranti wood, and a mix of eclectic furniture from local woodworkers in the world famous region for wood carving of Jepara, and mixed western and eastern ‘90-2000 design. Very comfy and romantic.
Food is fresh very tasty and...

This was my own mistake but I was really dissapointed that the upgrade to a room with windows would have costed approx. the same price than the original room we took. "The address listed on Expedia was wrong. I would not have found the place without a locals help. The owner was leaving town so there was no staff during my stay. Amenities like drinks or snacks for sale was locked and inaccessible due to no staff. The bathroom plumbing leaked. I had two rodents enter my room somehow during my stay. The room otherwise was clean and in decent condition and I was happy there was toilet paper and a flushing toilet and the AC worked well. The location was convenient...

"We could not reach CasaVelion due to Covid restriction, the management decided to keep the whole amount of our stay without any kind of refund. The reservation did not allow cancellation, I am aware about this, but for this extraordinary and dramatic event I would expect an extraordinary behaviour. For sure I will never reserve rooms in CasaVelion! "
