"Very serine place"

"Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool with good upkeep and generally tidy grounds. Can't really complain about anything major. Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic. "I stayed one night, next morning the smell of sewerage from the bathroom drain was horrendous. I left the hotel immediately . The stairs to the top floors are steep & dangerous . Not a pleasant experience ."
