Posizione strepitosa

L'albergo, situato in una posizione sopraelevata rispetto al mare, ha una veduta mozzafiato. Il mare è comunque accessibile attraverso una strada sterrata. Le stanze sono spaziose ed il bagno abbastanza confortevole. Il punto dolente è la colazione, di per sé sufficiente se si arriva presto, nel senso che, quanto viene consumato, non viene rimpinguato e la varietà è abbastanza scarna. I gestori si danno da fare nei limiti della stretta necessità, anche perché non c'è possibilità di comunicazione visto che l'inglese non è particolarmente conosciuto.

Long weekend with family

Great, quiet old school hotel surrounded by pine trees and with beautiful view. Only remark, if you are not a hiker do not attempt to go to the hotel beach. Anyhow, several beaches are available in 10 minutes by car. Overall great experience, I would definitely go again.

Hôtel de classe moyenne mais environnement magnifique et sauvage. Néanmoins voici les problèmes rencontrés sur 3 jours : -serviettes de bain manquantes -serviette de bains sales -pas d’eau chaude au moins une fois par jour donc douche à l’eau froide obligatoire ce qui n’est pas très agréable -frigo qui ne fonctionne pas -petit déjeuner très réduit (céréales , pain et yahourt) Néanmoins environnement très jolie hôtel situé au milieu des pins en bordure de plages sauvages .

Uns hat es klasse gefallen!

Wunderschöne, atemberaubende grüne Anlage gepflegt und ruhig, kostenlose Parkplätze, saubere Zimmer, nettes und freundliches Personal. Einem wunderschönen Wildstrand gehort zum das Hotel. Wir haben uns vorgenommen, Dryades Hotel wieder zu besuchen... Alles war toll.

Lovely spacious room with balcony overlooking sea.

Staff really friendly, food excellent and reasonably priced. Beach a walk down steep dirt road so hire a car. Excellent water sports club on beach and lovely restaurant next to it. Loved Saviri and Dyrades hotel.

Hôtel Dryades situé dans un très beau cadre, très tranquille. Personnel accueillant et serviable. Petit déjeuner complet et varié. Qualité du café et du thé pas extra (à cause de l'eau utilisée). Restaurant de l'hôtel sympa mais ce n'est pas le meilleur rapport qualité/prix du coin. Pas idéal pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.

Ein sehr schön gelegenes Hotel für Ruhe suchende

In mitten einem Pinienwald gelegen, mit kleinem Pool und Restaurant. Netter Familienbetrieb, Zimmer sehr sauber und gross. Balkon oder Terasse mit Meeresblick und Sonnenuntergang. Der Strand wurde leider von der Brandung ausgewaschen und existiert nicht mehr. Für junge und oder sportliche Naturelle ist das Meer aber über eine gut montierte Leiter erreichbar. Dort fühlt man sich dann - ich zitiere die schönen Worte meines Mannes - wie Poseidon, fernab von jediglicher Zivilisation und absolut zeitlos. Für den Ottonormalverbraucher ist aber ein Auto empfehlenswert. Mit dem kommt man in 10min an schöne lange Sandstrände.

Nice hotel, but no beach.

Pictures on line show a beautiful view of the beach however, there is no way of getting down to the beach in a safe manner. If you are brave enough to climb down this cliff they have for a path, you will find no shore. Hotel is nice, breakfast was ok. Dinner that you would purchase is very good. There is no bar, and no beach, so you have to go to nearby beaches. The plus is the rooms are very roomy, and the view is pretty. The area is quiet and serene.

Fantastica esperienza!!!

Hotel molto bello immerso in una pineta con una stupenda vista sul mare e con una favolosa spiaggietta anche se un po faticoso raggiungerla ma ne vale davvero la pena!camere spaziose, luminose e pulite con bagno gradevole. Il personale è molto disponibile e cordiale e parlano un po di italiano (ci hanno suggerito molte spiagge stupende da visitare). nel ristorante dell'hotel si mangia bene e il panorama è mozzafiato..il paese di siviri dista a 2 minuti di macchina ma per la movida bisogna spostarsi a kalithea, circa 10km. Nel complesso un buon hotel e un bel posto dove passare le proprie vacanze!

Quiet family-oriented hotel

Went this summer for a short vacation, choosing this hotel based on the previous Expedia reviews. Most of them were informative and I tend to agree - this is a nice family-oriented hotel. The staff is unintrusive, the place is quiet save for the relentless hum of cicadas which becomes less noticeable after a day or two. The view from the cliff is beautiful, albeit largely obscured by a dense pine forest. The hotel has a small but sufficient pool which is not much utilized. There is also a 'hotel beach', an unimproved strip below the cliff which is accessible by the way of a steep path and a 10-foot ladder at the very end. It is not for the faint-hearted and requires a fair level of fitness. It is not the best beach in the area, but provides for a decent level of seclusion and a sense of wilderness. Interestingly, the Siviri city beach is just around the corner and could be accessed by a bit of wading and strolling. Siviri beach is a valid alternative, with a plentiful shaded lounges reserved for the bars' patron's (you do not need to spend much at all to stay for a long time). One would need a car to access other nice beaches the are spread around, the closest being Potissi Beach which has a bit of a Caribbean feel. Hotel rooms are large, clean and sufficient, being on the frugal side. There is a mini-fridge (no buzzing sound in our room), AC (pre-set), and TV (very basic, with no English channels). Each room has a nice balcony with a sea view.

Good quality hotel - friendly, helpful service

It would have been helpful if Expedia (you wouldn't expect this of a hotel) had told us that the area is pretty much closed at that time of year. Most things (cafes, restaurants, shops, tourist attractions) open mid-May. Good time for seeing remains, though - you need to be there in time because they shut mid-afternoon. Very pleasant area, beaches are nice. Hotel rooms are spacious, and there is a good view of Mount Olympus, where you can believe there are gods from this distance! Lots of steps down to beach at hotel. The staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Dryades Summer 2010

Hotel wonderfully situated to tour Chalkadiki and Macedonia. The WEB site description is accurate except for Private beach read Secluded beach and take you hiking boots, it is a hard climb down and back. We only ate Dinner at the hotel on one occasion but the food was excellent. Room Air conditioning excellent. I would recommend a car for you entire stay as the walk into town is OK on the way in (down hill) but is a hard walk back, even for relatively fit people. All staff at the hotel were very friendly and were keen to help me impprove my very weak Greek

Dryades Hotel - our relaxing break

We went during the low season nevertheless we had a great time. The weather was great and the surroundings of the hotel were really beautiful: amazing mediterranean flora and turquoise sea moreover because of the low season we had the beach for ourselves which was lovely. Hotel staff were very attentive and took good care of us. We will surely return if only for the breakfast omelette!
