"The Alk Hotel is an amazing place to stay. The staff are all wonderful & so kind and helpful. We arrived early & our room was ready, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed & great view. "Tiny room, not able to open 2 suitcases. Arrogant staff, overpriced beach services. Sun beds was made available fron 07.00-13.30 at 30 EUR and from 13.30-19.00 for 50 EUR. I.e. Not possible to rent for a day. Very few sun beds so this stay ay a mediocre hotel became very expensive. We were scammed in the restaurant, paid by card 120 EUR, after pin code they claimed that transaction did no go through, even though I showed it on the Mastercard app. Ended in a conflict, and I had to pay also...

"This was a lovely property with their restaurant set right at the beach. It was a really delightful setting. The room was very clean and cool with a little patio area at the back. "In need of a bit of TLC around the place. The superior room was disappointing. When asked what made it superior I was told it is bigger than a standard room. The bathroom was tiny. No room for more than one person. Could stand and touch all four walls without moving. Breakfast was reasonable with a good choice. "A lovely hotel with very well maintained gardens. They do offer free of charge collection and delivery from the port(they have asked Hotels.com to say this in text many times but it still not advertised) which brilliant. Rooms are lovely and clean. Lovely soft towels and good quality bed linen. The beach is tight in front of the hotel. You can walk too the port along the beach and up some steps and takes about 15 minutes. Excellent beach bar. The staff are very helpful. A lovely hotel."
