Khách sạn Katuneriya

"We are a married couple in our 60s, and have just spent a week here at the beginning of October. This is their low season, so the hotel was very quiet and peaceful, which suits us. We could not fault the facilities, the cleanliness of the room, etc. The hotel comprises of an open central restaurant and bar, surrounded by colourful, well maintained gardens and small bungalows in which are situated the guest rooms, which are air conditioned. The hotel is at one end of a large lagoon, surrounded by...

"Es war wie immer sehr angenehme Aufenthalt. Tolles Essen. Nettes Personal. Toller Pool."

"Best deal for money for those wanting to spend a night of two after a long flight-beats anywhere else"

"Very cool place"

"ホテル周辺の環境も良く、非日常を味わうことができ、とてもリラックスできた。また、スタッフもとてもホスピタリティが高く、非常に満足だった。またぜひ、ゆっくり滞在したい。"

"El hotel esta muy por debajo de un hotel 5 estrellas... la habitación deja mucho que desear y le falta mantenimiento."

"Close to airport"

"Nice place"

"Mis à part le fait que l'hôtel soit un peu excentré. Le personnel a été charmant, la chambre est spacieuse et bien entretenue. Et le petit plus, est que l'hôtel est à l'intérieur d'un parc."

"Spent some good time. The room, pool, ground, food and finally the beach view all together I had an excellent experience. Thank you "

"This is a small, beautiful hotel in a good location for walks to the beach (20 minutes) and to the main street with shops and restaurants (15 minutes). The mix of tasteful local decor in the rooms and tropical planting in the garden and surroundings is charming. Well appointed bathrooms, spacious rooms, good air conditioning. Naleepa and Madusha are excellent masseuses, thank you ladies! I recommend this for any stay in Negombo!"

"Okay for 1 or 2 nights. Features a very nice beach front restaurant, that made my stay worthwhile. Rooms are quite boring and only in fair shape. AC is either a noisy freezer or you switch off. Tap water has high content of chlorine, not nice in skin. Hotel is lacking easy accessible information about facilities and also basic features such as DND door signs don't exist. Upon check out at 0:30h I found no one picking up phone help line 110, no one (zero!) staff at reception desk, no security...

"We only stayed for one night just before catching our flight, but we received such a warm welcome from Shiraj and his team, who took great care of us throughout our stay. The villa is clean, with a lovely pool perfect for relaxing and is located just 20 minutes from the airport. The property is very well maintained. Thank you!"

"This was our first stop on arrival in Sri Lanka and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are wonderful, the food was gorgeous and the setting by the lake was idyllic. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have high ceilings and views of the lake. Altogether a great start to our holiday."
