"We were fortunate to have this 21 room boutique hotel recommended to us... the prefect retreat after a 4 day Indian wedding in Mussoori. The staff is friendly and attentive, the low key atmosphere welcomed, the grounds lush with beautiful landscaping and flowers. Food was authentic Indian fare, loved the spa, exercise room, yoga, live music in the evenings and even a disco! The only regret was not seeing the peaks of the Himalayas due to some haze throughout out 4 day 3 night stay. I'd highly...

"Excellent stay. Very hospitable and knowledgeable hosts (Suman and husband) and extremely helpful staff. The food and conversation are great, the views are nice and the hotel is conveniently located from forest trails and a lovely sunset point. Overall, we had a very nice stay for three nights at the Hermitage in Kanatal."

"You need to trek to reach the property. Good for youngsters looking for solitude, for age 45 it will be very difficult to reach the property. Vehicle will be parked uphill. "
