"Hotel was literally next door to bus station which was very convenient. Local bus stop and large supermarket also next door.
Breakfast option was adequate (€12).
Usual compact room. "
"Nice hotel in a perfect location.
Lots of cafes, restaurants and shopping just a few minutes walk away. Friendly and helpful staff.
Bathroom could use some updating.
Breakfast was okay, little bit more selection would've been nice."
"Vi hade valt ett standardrum när vi beställde men det var oerhört trist så vi uppgraderade till en svit. Frukost var riktigt bra, däremot var 6-rättersmenyn med tillhörande vinpaket oprisvärt"
"This was in the heart of old town Janis. There were tons of restaurant and bar options in walking distance. It felt safe comfortable. The room was clean, well equipped and great for our family of three."

Shopping, restaurants and historical sites are some highlights of Old Town Kaunas. Make a stop by Kaunas Cathedral or Kaunas Town Hall while you're exploring.
You can find the perfect gifts to bring home at Liberty Avenue during your stay in Kaunas. While in this walkable area, you can savour the bars and restaurants.
We visited the Ninth fort. If you do, wear warm clothes as it is freezing in there although well worth a visit!! We also visited the KGB atomic bunker which we recommend. You won't see anything as strange anywhere else!!!

A vibrant town of old and new to explore which was readily walkable. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants to choose from even over the New Year holiday period. Would recommend this as a city break destination.

We had 2 days in Kaunas, which was not enough. If you want to linger and enjoy the lovely city and the museums, 3 days or more would be better.

Have never been to anywhere as spotlessly clean in all bar areas and public parks

Absolutely love Kaunas. I'll definitely return again and again. Easy flight from Edinburgh and great value hotels.
