We were disappointed in the Trails Motel. I was reminded of motels that my family stopped at in the 50's and 60's; while some of the features in the room had been updated there wasn't much change. If we find ourselves in Lone Pine again, we would definitely be looking for somewhere else to stay.

The bed was definitely on the low end of the quality and comfort scale, and there's a decorative glass block window high on a wall with no covering that allows the morning light to flood the room - not great for sleeping past sunrise. I probably wouldn't stay here again, there seemed to be plenty ...
