We enjoyed a tranquil week at this amazing hotel. The staff were friendly and would do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The view from our double deluxe room was outstanding. The minibus that ran from the hotel was so useful and only charged €1 per person. We will definitely be back next year and hoping to stay for 2 weeks rather than 1.

Perfect week in the sun

Had the most fantastic relaxing week here. Small independently run hotel. Very good value, great food and lovely views of the bay. We saw dolphins one morning. Very friendly accommodating staff. Never felt too busy and they run a regular shuttle bus into Skala. I never go back to hotels or even destinations but I would come back to the Skala and kefalonia. Lovely island and beaches / good everywhere we went

Gorgeous hotel with very friendly staff!

This hotel was very chilled and very stunning, the bathrooms were extremely clean which is something I look for in a hotel! They had a lovely pool, plenty of loungers, pool bar and the breakfast was good too! Nice freshly made eggs! Nothing was too much when it came to the staff, they were all so helpful and friendly, assisted us with our trip booking and also booked us a taxi on our day of departure. They also have a free shuttle bus to and from the main town which was great! Ran until 10pm but plenty of taxis about for a later return. Would definitely return!!

We booked a room with sea view, however, we were offered a room with partial sea view. In fact, the first thing we saw, when in the room, was a wall of rocks!! On top of that, the TV did not work. We asked to changed room as it was not the kind of room we paid for, but we were told that we had sea view so they could not change our room. They also said that we should deal with Expedia, because we booked through Expedia website. Finally, because we continued requesting a new room, and mainly because the TV did not work, they offered us an upgrade for our final two nights (after spending three nights in the other room). In conclusion, did not offer us the room we paid for and handle the situation in a poor way. Concerning everything else, the staff, mainly Marita, was very nice and the pool and restaurant areas are quite nice with a great view on the sea.

La posizione è bellissima e le camere viste mare superior sono nuove e con un panorama eccezionale. Meno belle le stanze più vecchie con vista mare parziale. Avevamo scelto la mezza pensione ma non la consiglio. La colazione discreta, ma non eccezionale, certo da non da quattro stelle e la cena, sebbene con piatti ben cucinati, con menù scarso e assolutamente ripetitivo. Cortesia e accoglienza buona.

Everything was perfectly, the staff were very nice and friendly, the room was very clean and big. It was value for the money. Central is about 5 min by car to the centrum and 10 min by car to the Poros. We had an amazing stay. We definitely recommend that hotel.

Quarto precisa reforma

Tivemos problema no primeiro dia com o ar condicionado. Na noite o colchão tinha algumas molas soltas, ruim. A limpeza foi falha, não lavou copo que deixamos sujo. Em um dos dias, não houve limpeza do quarto, somente trocaram toalhas e estenderam o lençol. A localização é boa, mas pegamos um quarto que na internet mostrava foto que teria uma privacidade muito maior na varanda frente mar, que não existe, pois o quarto que nos foi dado (assim como outros) era no térreo e sua varanda é passagem das pessoas que ficam nos demais quartos. Não valeu o diferencial pago. Tirando problema com a limpeza, o pessoal é muito atencioso e prestativo.

hotel was a lovely 40 minute walk in to Skala but uphill walk back so taxi back, but hotel has beautiful views and lovely staff

Camera molto spaziosa, letto enorme, bagno rifinito con doccia domoda per due, balcone vista mare con tavolo per relax/colazione, area comune vista mare con piscina, musica soffusa e relax tutto il giorno, pochissima gente (fine agosto/inizio settembre). Personale decisamente all'altezza, cordiale e disponibile anche a richieste (fornello scaldavivande in camera e ultima doccia dopo aver riconsegnato le chiavi della camera). Decisamente consigliato!

Great hotel with amazing views

This hotel is not large so retains its family run charm. Staff are friendly and helpful and there are some great complimentary extras such as pool towels, free pool table and floats/games for pool, wi fi in reception area, shower and changing room if you have a late departure and have to check out of your room well before you need to leave, towels and bedding changed daily with excellent maid service as well as a courtesy bus running to and from Skala (nearest resort) about 4 times daily. BBQ night is really good value and the food menu although not cheap is absolutely excellent all of the time - it is tasty, decent portion size, authentic, made to order and delicious. People come here year after year and its not surprise why. You would have to be very picky to find something wrong with this place! I would definitely recommend it - some may be put off by its distance from Skala so having a car for a few days may be a good idea otherwise you can rely on the courtesy shuttle bus and pay 6 Euros in a taxi to come home.
