"Accommodations were excellent with a perfect location! The apartment was clean, well stocked (salt, coffee, laundry detergent, etc.), high end finishes, very comfortable bed and pull out couch, and quality toiletries. We did not get an e-mail ahead of time for check-in but our host was there upon arrival and was very communicative through messaging. Thank you for a perfect stay!"

"We decided to stay at the Courtyard by the airport on our last night before leaving Iceland. This was the best decision. The hotel is very close to the airport and offers a shuttle service. Seeing how the drive from Reykjavik is at least 40 min (if not more) we are glad we stayed close by for a relaxing evening and less rush in the morning. "This was a great spot to stay for a short layover. The staff was helpful and easy to communicate with before I arrived. It was easy to make arrangements to store my luggage before check in. They added breakfast to my stay as a courtesy. It may not have been the most luxurious hotel but it was clean and quiet. The showers were hot and refreshing after an exhausting day. And the convenience of staying steps away from the airport for an early morning flight is priceless."

"This place is NOT it if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep at night. The location is in some random spot in an industrial area. But it is also next to like 2 bars or some sort of gathering spot for locals who were drunk and loud and music was going until almost 3 am. We heard screaming and loud music all night long. It was impossible to sleep.
The way I could compare this place is a building that was probably an office building with the office rooms converted into a hostel type...

"Room was clean, street parking was easy, provided snacks were a nice and useful touch after a long drive. Honestly the hardest part was accessing the check-in instructions as a PDF through the Expedia app. This is mostly an issue with Expedia, but an interim fix could be to provide the room number and cide as a text message rather than PDF within Expedia."

"Effectively a hostel with a plastic “pod” enclosures for 2. Poor sound isolation - you will hear your snoring neighbors so bring earplugs. If you go into this knowing this is what the pods are - I guess it’s fine. The price is rather disappointing for a hostel, but compared to other Iceland stays, it’s cheaper."

"The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. We opted for the Sapphire suite with access to the hot tub. (side note- this is advertised as being private, but it is on a shared balcony with no dividers).
We also chose to include breakfast and that was wonderful. There were many hot and cold food options and a good variety of beverages as well. Great offering especially when traveling with kids.
You should absolutely visit the spa if you get a chance. It was the best way to end our trip....
