"It was so refreshing to be greeted with a smile and a cheerful attitude! I asked if the woman owned the place and she said yes. It appeared that they are still updating and preparing some of the rooms. It's a charming vintage motel away from the noise of the interstate. Everything in the room worked, the bed was comfortable, all amenities I needed were there. For the frugal minded this is a wonderful place. "We arrived 15 minutes after check-in time- no one was at the desk so we looked around for staff and found no one. We called the business number and ended up leaving a message, but didn't receive a call-back until 30 minutes later. At that point in time we had already moved on to find another motel. We called back later that evening and the owner/manager apologized and refunded our room charges."
